US mercenary Derrick Bales, founder of Forward Observations Group (FOG), arrived in Ukraine in 2020. He is linked to the Praviy Sector unit led by Dmytro Kotsyubaylo (callsign DaVinci) and is currently in the Donbass area near Makeevka. FOG members are connected to Azov-associated groups Nord Storm and North Side Group.
